Now for 2018, K-Syran joins forces with some of the globes biggest remixers to deliver what is being dubbed as her best track to date – the spankingly juicy-fresh ‘Shake That Booty’.
Was there something (an experience) or someone in your life that was the "catalyst" for you to start writing music? Tell us about it.
Music is my dad! He is music through and through! Who gets woken up at the weekends with a dad walking into your room singing and playing the accordian! Writing music is thanks to the Swiss rock group who brought me in as their lead singer.

Being pulled by the top boss at Universal UK!
What has been the high point of your music path?
Being discovered by Paul Sutin and working with Tom Nichols who has written two tracks for Kylie Minogue. Having a female team around me who believes in me! My track “Intimacy” being nominated by the United Nations/UK to be the anthem for International Women’s Day! My track” Dizzy” reaching #32 US Billboard & being nominated for Hollywood Music & Media Award & invited to perform “Dizzy” at Grammy weekend in NYC.
So, how do you approach songwriting or what is your creative process like?
I go to the studio and I will start to play around with lyrics and melodies, then I will go back a couple of days later and finalize my new songs.
What do you see as the biggest challenge facing Indie Artists today? Or, if you could ask the music industry to change one thing, what would it be?

If you could share the stage with one other artist or band, who would it be and why?
Mick Jagger! He is sex on stick! I would love love love to dance around with him on stage!
What are your rehearsals generally like? Or, how do you prepare for a live show?
I will practice with my dancers now for GayPride tour in the UK. I’m an actress so getting my voice warmed up and putting on my costume made by talented Frank Strachan and stage make up is all a ritual getting me into performance mood.
Pick one song that was your greatest challenge to write. Tell us about it!
Testify” that I did as a duo with Amelle, ex Sugababes , British girl group. It’s about two best friends ending up as lovers. That was challenging to get my head around!
What's coming up in the future?
If I could predict the future I would be a very rich woman! But I hope to be able to continue to express myself through music, acting, writing , producing and directing!
