Was there something (an experience) or someone in your life that was the "catalyst" for you to start writing music? Tell us about it.

No one experience, I heard that good traditional country music and wanted to create my own.

Let's get this out of the way. What is the CRAZIEST thing that has ever happened to you in your music career?

My country music heroes like David Frizzell, Ronnie McDowell, Rhonda Vincent, Leona Williams, T Graham Brown, Buddy Jewell will perform and record songs with me.......To me that is the craziest thing that has happened to me, such an honor !

What has been the high point of your music path?

Again, it has to be the duets I have been able to do with my heroes.

So, how do you approach songwriting or what is your creative process like?

I am not really sure where it comes from, somewhere within from the Good Lord. It has to be all natural, just let it come to you

What do you see as the biggest challenge facing Indie Artists today? Or, if you could ask the music industry to change one thing, what would it be?

For those like me, it is keeping that traditional country sound alive and respecting it's history

If you could share the stage with one other artist or band, who would it be and why?

George Strait, his music and lifestyle is closest to mine and what I want to do

What are your rehearsals generally like? Or, how do you prepare for a live show?

Very comfortable and relaxed. I am blessed to have very seasoned musicians in my band so rehearsal is more fun than work

Pick one song that was your greatest challenge to write. Tell us about it!

Worth Saving, it had to be written to where it made sense and created interest for the Barn Believers!

What's coming up in the future?

Just keep on keeping on.....maintaining the traditions
