Was there something (an experience) or someone in your life that was the "catalyst" for you to start writing music? Tell us about it.
Saw AC/DC in concert when I was 12 and that was it; hooked every since.
Let's get this out of the way. What is the CRAZIEST thing that has ever happened to you in your music career?
What has been the high point of your music path?
Co-writing with a Nashville songwriter.
So, how do you approach songwriting or what is your creative process like?
I usually come up with the chorus (the hook) first, then the verses, while working out the vocal melody as the song is written. Then we build the music around that. Other times, one of the guitarist will send a song idea with the guitar parts and I write the lyrics/vocal melody to go with it.
What do you see as the biggest challenge facing Indie Artists today? Or, if you could ask the music industry to change one thing, what would it be?
Getting your music heard, i.e.: radio play, play lists, etc.
If you could share the stage with one other artist or band, who would it be and why?
Foo Fighters, great band and great song writing.
What are your rehearsals generally like? Or, how do you prepare for a live show?
We usually run through our show once a week, even when we don't have a gig. Repetition is how we get it done.
Pick one song that was your greatest challenge to write. Tell us about it!
"The Struggle" off our debut EP. The song is about drug addiction - that's always a touchy subject matter. We took it head on, the truth with no apologies. It needs to be discussed.
What's coming up in the future?
We have a new album we are working on, 'Industrial Raunch' - should be released after the 1st of the year.
