Groov Marro

Was there something (an experience) or someone in your life that was the "catalyst" for you to start writing music? Tell us about it. I grew up around family members that were into rap. Most notably my old brother that goes by the name KAF. He is featured in a few of my sounds and videos; he is also a part of the GuttaCity battle rap team run by popular Battle rapper EazyThe Block Captain.

Let's get this out of the way. What is the CRAZIEST thing that has ever happened to you in your music career? At this early point in my music career I don't have any wild or crazy stories yet, but I'm sure I will have some on my way up.

What has been the high point of your music path? Joining the Vibestarentertainment team has been the high point of my music path. They have opens doors and put me in places I would not have be able to do with anyone else.

So, how do you approach songwriting or what is your creative process like? It's always difficult. Sometimes I'll just be sitting there and something with come to me, other times I'll turn on so instrumentals and let the music flow.

What do you see as the biggest challenge facing Indie Artists today? Or, if you could ask the music industry to change one thing, what would it be? Doing things their own way and not follow trends, if I could ask the music industry to change one thing it be to stop pushing the same trendy thing all the time.

If you could share the stage with one other artist or band, who would it be and why? That would be a tie between Joey Bada$$ and Dizzy Wright. Those two artists are some of the dopiest down to earth artists I can see myself actually on stage with.

What are your rehearsals generally like? Or, how do you prepare for a live show? I prefer to rehearse alone. I prep all my music to be able to perform at any given moment so that I am always ready.

Pick one song that was your greatest challenge to write. Tell us about it! Well back in my SoundCloud days I posted a song called "All Talk" I wrote the first verse when I was about 13 and the last verse about 10 years later became I for some rest cold never finish it in way I liked.

What's coming up in the future? Music, music, and more music. Interviews, shows, etc. You name it, we are planning everything.
