Was there something (an experience) or someone in your life that was the "catalyst" for you to start writing music? Tell us about it.

I wouldn’t say that there was a specific person. It honestly just came down to me really enjoying electronic music. From there, I just started listening to a lot of artists, and I eventually decided that I wanted to make my own original music.

Let's get this out of the way. What is the CRAZIEST thing that has ever happened to you in your music career?

The craziest experience would have to be when I ran into one of my favorite DJs in a nightclub in NYC. I told him I actually make music myself and if it would be okay if I can send him one of my tracks so he can just listen. So, I sent him an email the next day, and he replied a few weeks later with some amazing feedback and some helpful tips that later on helped me in my career.

What has been the high point of your music path?

I would have to say when I graduated from my music school and got my degree in music production because I remember the first day of this journey, I basically knew nothing. So when I graduated, it felt like I came a long way, and It was a sign that this was definitely meant for me and I was on the right path.

So, how do you approach songwriting or what is your creative process like?

For each song, it’s different, sometimes, I get sent a demo consisting of just the vocals so I'll start writing chords around that. Sometimes I just come up with a simple melody and work around that. Each project is totally different, and I really enjoy it that way because there shouldn't be just one way to make music.

What do you see as the biggest challenge facing Indie Artists today? Or, if you could ask the music industry to change one thing, what would it be?

I think the biggest challenge as an Indie artist would have to be making a living off your music because you don’t have a label funding your career. Every dollar that goes into making your music is coming out of your pocket. If I had to change one thing about the music industry, it would be for Spotify to pay more for streams.

If you could share the stage with one other artist or band, who would it be and why?

It would be my favorite DJ, “Martin Garrix” because he’s the reason I got into this, so it would definitely be an unbelievable experience sharing the stage with him.

What are your rehearsals generally like? Or, how do you prepare for a live show?

I usually just practice from home; I have a full setup at my house so that's where I do all my preparation. I also have my studio at my house so that’s where I finalize all my remixes, mashups, and any music I will be playing later that night.

Pick one song that was your greatest challenge to write. Tell us about it!

It would have to be a song that I will be releasing soon called “Late Night Cruise”. This song is very personal to me, and it’s the first song where I wrote the entire lyrics by myself so that was definitely a challenge for me.

What's coming up in the future?

I have a track called “Sunset” that will be released next week. It’s the perfect summer song, and I can’t wait for you guys to listen to it.
