Was there something (an experience) or someone in your life that was the "catalyst" for you to start writing music? Tell us about it.
At a small concert while I was in college at Baruch College in NYC, I saw for the first time a salsa band and I was just mesmerized! I started to take piano lessons and about a year later I started performing with some local artists, then songs just started to pop in my head and I started writing music. There were many artists that inspired me to write music; Willie Rosario, La Sonora Poncena, Frankie Ruiz.
Let's get this out of the way. What is the CRAZIEST thing that has ever happened to you in your music career?
Oh yea, I recall the time we performed almost 24 hours! Started at 10 pm at one club, then headed to next club to start at 12 midnight, then to an after-hours club to start at 3 am-6am, then got on the bus and headed to Sing-Sing jail to do a concert from 10 am-1 pm! Wow, we were exhausted for days to come, lol And never did that again, lol.
What has been the high point of your music path? Our high is now! We just got picked up by Deville Entertainment management and we are performing at some of the biggest venues like the Orlando House of Blues! That was an awesome experience! We are schedule to go on tour to NYC, NJ, CT and DC.

So, how do you approach songwriting or what is your creative process like?
First a topic, then add some piano chords, then I get a few of the band guys together for ideas.
What do you see as the biggest challenge facing Indie Artists today? Or, if you could ask the music industry to change one thing, what would it be?
Support, support, support. It's hard to get any kind of support to first record albums. Even when we got on the nomination list for the Latin Grammy's it takes a lot of money to get noticed. We have been super fortunate to have some good sponsors who believe in what we do.
If you could share the stage with one other artist or band, who would it be and why?
It's funny you should ask because I will be doing that in August hopefully if we can get pass this virus issue; Victor Manuelle and Papo Lucca y La Sonora Poncena; I have always wanted to share the stage with these giants of Latin Music. Papo Lucca has been a huge inspiration for me; he is one of the best piano players and always like and even mimic his style of playing.
What are your rehearsals generally like? Or, how do you prepare for a live show?
Oh wow, our rehearsals are like a picnic; we have our own recording and rehearsal studio with a huge back yard; so have tons of fun. We take a break about 2 hours into rehearsal to have some great Spanish Food, then rehearse for another hour and half to have more food. We just love getting together.
Pick one song that was your greatest challenge to write. Tell us about it! Si te Vas, from our fourth album; we must have re-arranged that song three of four times; just didn't get the right chemistry at first, but the final result absolutely amazing!
What's coming up in the future?
We are working on our fifth album and next music video.
