Stephanie Grace

Hailing from the small town of Douglassville, Pennsylvania, singer-songwriter Stephanie Grace is on the rise. A charismatic performer, Stephanie is a veteran of star-studded national tours and big concert stages. She has opened for Taylor Swift, Scotty McCreery, John Michael Montgomery, Josh Turner, Brothers Osborne, Hunter Hayes, and The Charlie Daniels Band! At age 22, the young Nashville-recording, Country/Pop songstress has released two critically acclaimed EPs, Stephanie Grace and Life’s Okay. Her single “Loser” was one of the most added songs in country radio in its debut week. "Loser" connects Stephanie to a vital cause that she is passionate about- the prevention of bullying. Since releasing the song in 2013, Stephanie has conducted anti-bullying assemblies at multiple elementary, middle and high schools throughout Pennsylvania. Currently, Stephanie has a brand new, six-song EP "Private Pond” featuring her single “Nobody” available at all major digial outlets. Stephanie will be featured on That Summer, Volume 2 , a sizzling summer compilation album hosting the best independent artists, from around the world, in multiple genres.

1. What is the name of the song you have featured on ‘That Summer, Volume 2’ - How does your song remind you of summer or how does it fit into a summer album?

"Private Pond" is outdoorsy, fun and flirty - all the summer vibes! Gotta have somewhere cool to hangout with your friends this summer, and that's what this song's all about!

2. What is the inspiration behind your song? Or what is your song about?

"Private Pond" is about finding that sweet "secret spot" to get away, stay cool, and have fun!

3. How did you write your featured song? Or can you describe your songwriting process?

I came into the co-writing session with Josh & Jonathan and they had the idea "private pond". We thought it was such an unusual title for a song and we really wanted a summer single, so the song kinda wrote itself, as we thought about having fun with friends and staying cool this summer.

4. Of every song you have ever written, what is your favorite and why?

Of every song I've ever written, my favorite is probably "Life's Okay" from my 2013 Life's Okay EP. The song sums up my attitude about everything in life; it's okay to sit there and complain sometimes but at the end of the day you have to take a step back and realize how blessed you are. I've had people of all ages say they can really relate to this song and as a songwriter that means the world to me!

5. Who or what has inspired you most in your music career?

What's inspired me most in my career is all the encounters I have with different people I meet. Fans, other artists, etc. I think that's one of the coolest parts of the music industry; it brings so many different people together. I get inspired by hearing their stories and experiences.

6. Tell us where you live and what the music scene is like there?

I live in a small town about 40 minutes west of Philadelphia, called Douglassville, Pennsylvania. There is a music scene here for sure, people of all ages, having fun, playing tunes, and bringing people together. It's a neat little community.

7. Do you have any advice for new independent artists who are just starting out?

My advice for any new independent artist starting out is: Stay true to who you are... take the time to figure out who you are as an artist and OWN THAT. Work hard, practice a lot, build relationships with people, treat fans like friends (cause they are!), and remember that no matter what, there's always room for improvement; never stop growing and learning!

8. What are your plans for the summer? Doing anything fun and exciting?

This summer I'm looking forward to playing some festivals, fairs and wineries with my band and enjoying the nice weather with family, friends, and fans! My new EP "Private Pond" is now out so I'm looking forward to playing those songs live!

9. What’s coming up in the future?

More shows, more music, more fun!

10. Tell us where fans can access your music.?

Basically anywhere you can digitally download music. Physical CDs are also for sale on my website
